About Me

“In 2010, I taught my first acting workshop at the Tennessee Thespian Conference while I was a graduate student at Austin Peay State University. Since then, my only goal was to become a teacher.”

My name is Chad Stem. I am originally from Hermitage, TN and attended school throughout the greater Nashville area in my youth. You’ll see from my professional experience below, that I’ve acquired three degrees, two of which are Master’s degrees in the field of Theatre and Acting. I’ve never shied away from the stage and love performing for people. I never feel more alive. The same feeling occurs when I am leading instruction in a classroom and watching a student grasp a concept or learning goal. I hope to scaffold student success and help them enjoy school more than they previously had through my playful personality, hard work, and more. My class will also include multiple opportunities to use technology to enhance learning through NearPod lessons, Apps, and more.
